Single classes are $20/Multiple classes are $15. 

Fees can be paid via cash, check, Venmo (@violet-may-anderson) or PayPal (paypal.me/blackbamboopavilion).

1. Class fees are $15 per class, if paid in blocks of 4 classes or more. Each payment should include a note with your name on it. We accept checks, vinmo, paypal and cash, are acceptable. Checks should be made out to your instructor.

2. Discount: If a student takes more than one class a week or a household has multiple members in one class, class fees are $12 per class if paid in a blocks of 4 or more classes. Example:  a student is in a long form class and a weapons class or interactive class;  A parent/child or partners attend classes together. 

3. Class fees paid via check or cash are placed in a red envelope (hong bao) and should include a note with the student's name and number of classes included in payment.  These should be ready when arriving at class and should left in the designated spot before class begins. The instructor will frequently have an extra envelope if you find yourself without one.

4. Saturday practice sessions are $5.

5. Calligraphy or shufa workshops are $20.

6. Private lessons are $60 at the teacher's home or other convenient location; $75 if the teacher must travel. Groups pay proportionately less per person: at the teacher's home, two pay $45 each (although we sometimes accommodate couples on the same budget with a reduced rate); three pay $30 each.

7.  One time visitors from out town are welcome and should plan on paying the single class fee of $20.

8. In addition to class dues, beginning student are may decide to get a green sash (available through the school for $12) after one month. The sash represents an acknowledgement of the martial arts history. Two workbooks are also available for purchase, though not required.  One book is an instruction book on our qigong Form, "Eight Pieces of Brocade/Ba Duan Jin" ($10.00). The other is on the "Four Flower-Five Element Exercise/Si Hua-Wu Xing Gong" ($8.00).
