Beginning and Continuing Tai Chi

  • Black Bamboo Pavilion 2621 Princeton Ave Durham United States (map)

Due to COVID 19, this class is being held in an outdoor (covered) pavilion. We will require social distancing and face coverings at all times.

Wudangshan is a traditional taiji (also known as tai chi) form that is suggested for improving balance, focus and meditative aspects.  The form is taught one posture at a time, at the student's pace, with an intense focus on fundamentals of movement.  Wudangshan is a starting point for anyone interested in the art of taijiquan.

Beginning students will start learning principles and fundamentals essential for taiji.  They will continue through the form, posture by posture at their own pace.

Visitors are welcome to join any class or seminar. They will be able to experience a small bit of our form and explore our focus on fundamentals, stance work and applications.
